Pig B-ultrasound machine for checking sows during caesarean section
During the sow dystocia process, it is necessary to master the occurrence and development of sow dystocia. It is very important to use a pig B-ultrasound machine for observation before delivery, especially some sows with dystocia do not show any abnormalities on the surface. By summarizing the common sow dystocia cases in daily life, the following conclusions are drawn
1. Sow dystocia mainly occurs in hot seasons such as summer and autumn;
2. Farms with large pig production are prone to sow dystocia due to the noisy environment;
3. Insufficient labor force often occurs in old and weak sows, and excessive fetus often occurs in multiparous sows; narrow birth canal often occurs in primiparous sows, and it is necessary to use a pig B-ultrasound machine to check the birth canal before delivery;
4. After 2-5 hours of water breaking, the pig is observed with a B-ultrasound machine. If it is still impossible to give birth naturally, it can be attributed to the category of dystocia; 5. Compared with large livestock, the reproductive organs of sows are smaller, and manual delivery does not play a big role.
The main cause of dystocia is not the fetal position; 24 hours after dystocia, the fetus has generally suffocated and died, and even if a live fetus is taken out, the survival rate is not high; 72 hours after dystocia, the fetus has begun to decay in the mother's body. If the decayed fetus is absorbed by the mother, it will cause poisoning of the mother itself, and in severe cases it will cause sepsis and septicemia, endangering the life of the sow. On the other hand, it will cause serious contamination of the sow's vulva and the entire hindquarters, causing uterine vaginal inflammation. Therefore, during the production process, it is necessary to use a pig ultrasound machine for examination. If a non-corrupted fetal corpse is discharged one week after dystocia, it is possible that the mother has digested and absorbed the fetus; the surgical site of cesarean section can be determined on the left or right side according to the strength of the fetal movement, and it is not necessary to take the left side.
