Under normal circumstances, soon after the ewe's amniotic membrane breaks, the lamb's front hooves and head are exposed first, and the fetus falls to the ground immediately. When the ewe is found to have twin or multiple lambs by B-ultrasound examination, the ewe is often tired and needs to be prepared for artificial delivery. At this time, you can use your hands to push under the ewe's abdomen to help the ewe expel the fetus, and then perform a sheep B-ultrasound examination before the operation. After the lamb is separated from the mother's body, the sticky substances in the lamb's mouth, nose, and ears should be cleaned in time. The mucus on the lamb's body should be licked dry by the ewe or dried with fire. The lamb's umbilical cord can be cut, and iodine should be applied to the broken part to prevent inflammation. The ewe is thirsty and tired after giving birth, so she should drink warm sugar water or thin millet soup. Prevent the ewe from biting the lamb due to thirst.

Breeding technology of mutton sheep is very important for mutton sheep production. The correct use of breeding technology can make the sheep grow and develop evenly, ovulate frequently, have a high conception rate, produce more lambs, and have a high survival rate. It is a very important link in the sheep industry. In these links, sheep B-ultrasound should be used for inspection. Problems in these links will cause losses to producers. For example, the low survival rate of lambs is a major problem in the sheep industry. It is necessary to frequently use sheep B-ultrasound to check the condition of ewes in production.

Breeding characteristics of mutton sheep Most mutton sheep breeds mature earlier than wool breeds, and their sexual maturity period is mostly 5-10 months old. However, the first sexual response of sheep does not mean that they can be bred, because the body development of sheep is not mature at this time, that is, physical maturity comes late. Due to differences in physical maturity between breeds, the age difference of first breeding between breeds is also large. Under good feeding and management conditions, the growth and health of sheep are good. When the weight of young ewes reaches more than 70% of that of adult ewes, that is, the weight of ewes reaches more than 40kg, they can be bred. Before breeding, sheep should be observed by B-ultrasound.
