What are the auxiliary effects of veterinary B-ultrasonography on the examination of gastric diseases in dogs? Dogs with esophageal diverticulum show loss of appetite, emaciation, dysphagia, salivation, intermittent vomiting, dyspepsia, and tumor-like sensation when touching the neck after eating, which can be diagnosed by veterinary X-ray and veterinary B-ultrasound.

Esophagitis in dogs is an inflammatory disease of the esophageal membranes. It is clinically characterized by salivation and dysphagia. The general symptoms include loss of appetite, vomiting, emasculation, difficulty eating, and elevated or normal body temperature. Endoscopy can be used for differential diagnosis. In esophagitis, all or part abnormalities of the esophageal shavings can be found under endoscopy.

If possible, the location of the foreign body can be determined by barium sulfate photography, and veterinary B-ultrasonography can also be used to assist diagnosis.

Foreign bodies in the stomach, animals often show loss of appetite or abandonment, weight loss, stomach tenderness, repeated nausea, vomiting, vomiting is mostly food or mixed with foreign bodies, and even spit bile. The stomach is puffy due to indigestion of stomach contents, and the anterior abdominal circumference is enlarged. Gastric palpation can touch the foreign body in the stomach, and there is pain in pressing the stomach. Veterinary X-ray and veterinary B-ultrasonography can be used for auxiliary diagnosis.

Gastric ulcer, affected dogs often show intractable vomiting, vomiting blood, bloody stool, stomach tenderness, anemia, weight loss, loss of appetite. Endoscopic and veterinary ultrasonography can be used to assist the examination.
