Troubleshooting methods for animal ultrasound without images
During the use of animal ultrasound, there may be a situation where there is no image on the screen. In this case, it is necessary to promptly identify the cause of the malfunction.
Firstly, open the casing of the animal Ultrasound Machine and find that there is a lot of dust inside. Clean up the dust before turning on the machine. Secondly, when there was still no image on the right screen, the output voltage of each channel was measured once when the fault occurred, and no problem was found*** Afterwards, after shutting down and removing the board from the machine, a visual inspection revealed that a corner of the CPU board in the animal B-ultrasound system was corroded. After careful inspection, it was found that there is a battery leakage next to this location. Measure the voltage of the battery, 3.58V is basically consistent with the nominal 3.6V, and it is estimated that this battery can continue to be used.

In the above situations, it is not advisable to replace the battery casually, as the battery usually supplies power to certain specific chips for storing time and some setting information. If removed rashly, it may cause the loss of the animal B-ultrasound program and result in new malfunctions. After cleaning some of the circuits in the corroded animal B-ultrasound system and turning it on again, the fault has not been resolved. Remove the CPU board again and carefully observe if there are any uncleaned parts. Accidentally, I felt a chip near the battery that was very hot. Observation shows that this chip is used to store programs, and there are several similar chips nearby, but they are not as hot. After cooling the chip with alcohol and turning it on, it was found that only the chip would slowly heat up, and when it reached a certain level of heat, the machine would report an error. When the chip can work normally after heat dissipation, it can be concluded that the chip is not completely damaged (and the program can still be read). Replace the chip with the same model, read out the program of the faulty chip, and then write it into the new chip. Replace it on the CPU board of the animal B-ultrasound system, install it, check that the animal B-ultrasound is correct, and then turn it on again. If the fault does not occur again, the problem is resolved.
