The resolution of veterinary B-ultrasound diagnostic equipment is an important indicator to measure its performance. The resolution of veterinary B-ultrasound diagnostic equipment can be further divided into axial resolution, lateral resolution and image resolution. Among them, the axial resolution of veterinary B-ultrasound refers to the minimum distance between two point targets that can be distinguished on the plane parallel to the axial direction of the ultrasound beam, and the lateral resolution refers to the minimum distance between two point targets that can be distinguished on the plane perpendicular to the same depth of the ultrasound beam. The image resolution of veterinary B-ultrasound mainly refers to the pixels and clarity of the ultrasound image.
