The resolution of veterinary B-ultrasound diagnostic equipment is an important indicator to measure its performance. The resolution of veterinary B-ultrasound diagnostic equipment can be further divided into axial resolution, lateral resolution and image resolution. Among them, the axial resolution of veterinary B-ultrasound refers to the minimum distance between two point targets that can be distinguished on the plane parallel to the axial direction of the ultrasound beam, and the lateral resolution refers to the minimum distance between two point targets that can be distinguished on the plane perpendicular to the same depth of the ultrasound beam. The image resolution of veterinary B-ultrasound mainly refers to the pixels and clarity of the ultrasound image. In the design of veterinary B-ultrasound diagnostic equipment, only the lateral resolution needs to be considered, because the axial resolution is determined by the veterinary B-ultrasound ultrasound probe, while the image resolution can be improved through a series of means such as veterinary B-ultrasound image processing.

The detection depth and pulse repetition frequency of veterinary B-ultrasound ultrasound diagnostic instruments are generally determined by the resonant frequency performance of the piezoelectric chip of its ultrasound probe, and the detection depth determines the repetition frequency of the pulse. Therefore, the period of transmitting ultrasonic pulses must be greater than the transit time to ensure that the echo signal is received by the veterinary B-ultrasound ultrasound probe before a new ultrasonic pulse is emitted. At present, there are generally three ways to increase the detection depth: reduce the ultrasound transmission frequency, increase the sensitivity of the ultrasound receiver, or increase the ultrasound transmission power. However, reducing the ultrasound transmission frequency will also reduce the lateral resolution of the ultrasound image. Improving the sensitivity of the veterinary B-ultrasound receiver requires the ultrasound diagnostic system to have
