There are many ways to breed female dogs. Veterinary B-ultrasound examination can determine which breeding method has a more obvious breeding effect.

Single mating, female dogs only mate with male dogs once in one estrus period. Its advantage is to reduce the breeding burden of male dogs. If they can be bred at the right time, they can also get a more ideal conception rate, but the conception rate is generally not high, so veterinary B-ultrasound is needed to combine well during breeding.

Repeated mating, female dogs mate with the same male dog twice in one estrus period, that is, after the first mating, they mate again after an interval of about 24-48 hours. This can make the female dog's reproductive tract often have strong sperm, increase the chance of sperm and eggs, and thus improve the conception rate of female dogs. The method of repeated mating can increase the number of litters without confusing blood relationships. Generally, farms use this method. Veterinary B-ultrasound examination shows the effect of this method, and the number of litters is quite considerable.

Double mating, the female dog mates with two male dogs in one estrus period, with an interval of about 24-48 hours, and mates with the two male dogs twice. After mating with the second male dog, it can cause the female dog to supplement reflex excitement, accelerate the maturation of the egg, shorten the ovulation time, increase the number of ovulations, and make the female dog produce more puppies. This can be determined by veterinary B-ultrasound observation during the mating process. This method is often used to breed meat dogs, which can obtain multi-breed hybrid advantages and improve growth advantages.

Generally, mating is done twice, with an interval of about 24-48 hours between the first mating and the second mating. Male dogs can only mate once a day, and no more than twice at most. They should rest for 2-3 days after mating, and strengthen feeding management. In a year, a male dog cannot mate more than 40 times, and the time must be evenly distributed.
