Rescue of false death Some lambs are born in false death due to weather or lack of oxygen. In this case, you should carefully check it. It is best to use sheep B-ultrasound for examination. Don't throw away the "false death" lamb easily. You can first remove the mucus and fetal fluid in the lamb's respiratory tract, wipe the nostrils, blow air into the nostrils or perform artificial respiration, put the lamb in a supine position with a low front and a high back, hold its forelimbs, flex and stretch it back and forth, pat the sides of the chest with your hands, and spray smoke into the lamb's nose to stimulate the lamb to breathe. For lambs that are cold and frozen, they should be immediately moved to the warm room for a warm water bath. When bathing, the lamb's head should be exposed to the water. The water temperature gradually rises from 30℃ to 40℃. The water bath time is 20-30 minutes. And sheep B-ultrasound should be used frequently to check and understand its condition.

Correction of abandoned lambs Some primiparous ewes do not recognize their own lambs. Not only do they not lick the lambs, but they even hurt the lambs. In this case, the mucus on the lamb can be smeared into the nose and mouth of the ewe to induce the ewe to lick the lamb. If the ewe still does not lick the lamb, the lamb should be wiped dry with a dry cloth or soft grass as soon as possible, and the lamb should be helped to eat the colostrum or placed in a warm place alone. The ewe should be woken up once every 2-3 hours to force the ewe to feed the lamb. After the ewe recognizes the lamb, it should leave the small circle in time. The sheep should be examined in time with B-ultrasound.

Skillful delivery, sheep are examined with B-ultrasound. When the sheep has symptoms of delivery, the hindquarters of the sheep are disinfected. During normal delivery, if the fetus is too large and the ewe is unable to deliver, hold the two front limbs of the lamb with your hands, and gently pull it downwards as the ewe struggles. After the lamb is delivered, the umbilical cord head should be rubbed with iodine to prevent omphalitis. When the sheep is examined with B-ultrasound, if the fetus is in an abnormal position, the hindquarters of the ewe should be raised, the exposed part of the fetus should be sent back, the hand should be inserted into the birth canal, the fetal position should be corrected, and it should be pulled out and sent back. Repeat 3-4 times.
