The feeding and management of female dogs should also adopt scientific methods. First, pay attention to the management of the anestrus period. The anestrus period of female dogs is a rest and recovery period after pregnancy and lactation. During this period, the feed variety should be sufficient and the nutrition should be comprehensive. The free-range exercise should be strengthened, and the free-range exercise should be not less than 1 hour a day. Units with conditions should strengthen training, enhance the physical fitness of female dogs, promote the recovery of the female dogs' bodies and the regulation of endocrine, and promote the normal estrus of female dogs. Veterinary B-ultrasound should be used to check their conditions frequently. Second, grasp the management of pregnant female dogs. During pregnancy, in order to meet their own physiological needs and the growth and development of the fetus, the female dogs should be provided with high-protein and comprehensive nutritional feed. At the same time, pay attention to the supplementation of vitamin AD and trace elements (calcium, etc.), and veterinary B-ultrasound should be used to ensure the normal development and growth of the fetus. In the late pregnancy, they should be fed less and more meals, and pay attention to the balance of nutrition. In terms of management, the kennel of pregnant dogs should be kept clean and dry, the air should be smooth, and the environment should be kept quiet. While exercising appropriately, the dogs should have enough rest to prevent strenuous exercise and avoid miscarriage and premature birth.

Correctly grasp the timing of female dog estrus, veterinary B-ultrasound examination, and timely breeding. It is necessary to strengthen the business training of breeders, understand and master the breeding timing of different types of dogs and dogs of different ages, breed in time, and observe the changes of female dogs every day after estrus. Breeders, especially breeding personnel, should carefully observe each female dog, preferably using veterinary B-ultrasound examination. According to the estrus law of female dogs, predict the estrus time of female dogs, carefully examine the estrus female dogs, observe and grasp the estrus symptoms, and breed in time according to the breeding plan and the law of each dog. Artificial assistance should be provided for dogs that have difficulty in free mating. It should be noted that the mating time of female dogs should be determined according to the specific situation of the female dogs' estrus, and cannot be simply calculated according to the time of blood drop. The specific method is to observe that the blood flowing out of the female dog's vulva turns light red and slightly sticky, the vulva becomes swollen and shiny, and the base becomes soft. At this time, mating is possible, which is about the 9th to 13th day of estrus, a little earlier for older dogs and a little later for young dogs. This is a clinical observation method for identifying estrus and ovulation, and it is also more obvious in veterinary B-ultrasound. Secondly, there are other methods such as dog ovulation detection instruments. Note that the male dog should preferably be a stud dog that has not been mated with a dog for about a week.
