Observation of factors affecting the conception rate of black goat ewes by B-ultrasound
There are many factors that affect the conception rate of black goat ewes. Some goat farmers, due to lack of attention to scientific methods, still raise goats with traditional methods: there is no shed for goats, they are fed in troughs, and they do not exercise on time; they cannot reasonably use ultrasound to detect whether the goats are pregnant and their pregnancy status; they are fed with whole bundles of corn stalks, and only eat the leaves; they dilute cornmeal with water and feed it, etc. This is not conducive to nutrient absorption and digestion, causing ewes to lack nutrition and affect their fertility.
In order to prevent malnutrition in ewes, full-price feed should be allocated according to individual conditions to achieve energy and protein balance. Forage grass and feed should be finely processed and fed on time. Pregnant ewes should ensure protein needs and increase vitamins. In terms of management, provide ewes with a comfortable living environment, keep the pens warm in winter and cool in summer, ventilated and dry, and exercise on time.
Sheep B-ultrasound to check whether black goats are pregnant:
sheep B-ultrasound uses: pregnancy check, fetal number, stillbirth, mummified fetus, ovarian uterine corpus luteum and other obstetric diseases
Sheep B-ultrasound
Sheep B-ultrasound machine operation method: in vitro exploration, in the early pregnancy, on both sides of the breast and the hairless area in front of the breast, or between the two breasts. In the middle and late pregnancy, it can be performed on the right abdominal wall. No hair clipping is required for exploration in the hairless area, but hair clipping is required for exploration of the side abdominal wall. In the rectum, after restraint, the examiner squats on one side of the sheep body, and after applying coupling agent locally or on the probe, the probe is pressed against the skin and scanned in the direction of the pelvic entrance. Scanning can be done from the front to the back of the breast, from the sides of the breast to the middle, or from the middle of the breast to both sides. Cross the bladder and scan on both sides. The fetal sac is not large in early pregnancy, and the embryo is very small, so it needs to be scanned slowly and carefully to be detected. Ewes generally take a natural standing posture, with assistants supporting them.
Advantages of breeding black goats
1. High reproductive performance: Ewes generally produce 1.7 litters per year. Lamb birth rate: 193% for first-time birth, 246% for 2-4 births. Weight of first-time and two-month-old lambs: 2.35kg and 12.5kg for male lambs, 2.22kg and 12.3kg for female lambs.
2. Fast growth and development: weight and height at 6 months of age: 25.5kg and 58.2cm for male lambs, 23.8kg and 55.1cm for female lambs; weight and height at 12 months of age: 37.2kg and 65.8cm for male lambs, 34.9kg and 60.7cm for female lambs; weight and height of adult lambs: 74.6kg and 76.7cm for male lambs, with the highest weight reaching 125kg, and 56.2kg and 68.5cm for female lambs, with the highest weight reaching 80.5kg.
