In actual production, there are mainly two common breeding methods for pigs, namely natural mating and local mating.

1. Observation of natural mating of sows using animal B-ultrasound machine

When mating, the first step is to choose a good breeding location. Natural mating, also known as natural mating, is a relatively primitive form of mating. The breeding location should be chosen in a quiet, flat, and non slip place, and away from other boars. In general pig farms, it is advisable to establish dedicated and independent breeding areas or breeding rooms to enable male pigs to successfully complete breeding tasks in a familiar environment. The animal B-ultrasound machine should be designed in an octagonal shape, with a diameter of at least 3 meters, solid walls, no protrusions (such as feeding troughs, water dispensers, etc.), and a solid and flat ground for observing the breeding of sows and boars.

Secondly, this exchange should adopt manual assistance methods. First, use potassium permanganate water to scrub and disinfect the external genitalia of sows and the abdomen and foreskin of boars, and squeeze out the urine stored in the foreskin of boars. Observing the reproductive organs of both male and female pigs with a veterinary B-ultrasound machine before mating can not only prevent the occurrence of uterine and vaginal infections in sows, but also improve the conception rate of sows. Then drive the sow to the designated breeding site and then drive it to the designated mating boar. Using a B-ultrasound machine to observe the mother pig crawling twice on the male pig, the breeder stands on the left side of the mother pig, pulls the tail of the mother pig to one side with the left hand, and guides the male pig's penis into the mother pig's vagina with the right hand, avoiding inserting the penis into the anus. Based on the contraction of the anal muscles in boars, it can be determined that the male

Does the pig ejaculate. After the boar has completed ejaculation, drive out the boar and pinch the external genitalia of the sow several times with your hand to drive the sow back to its original circle.

Note that the physical size of the sow should be similar to that of the mating boar. If the male pig is smaller than the female pig, when observing the breeding of the female pig with a B-ultrasound machine, a sloping terrain should be selected to allow the male pig to stand at a high place, or a breeding pad or dedicated breeding rack should be designed; If the male pig is larger than the female pig, a breeding pad can be designed or a dedicated breeding rack can be set up; If a male pig is larger than a female pig, it can lead to fractures

It is important to choose a suitable breeding time, and boars should not participate in breeding within 1 hour before and after feeding. In general pig farms, breeding can be carried out in the spring, summer, and autumn seasons from 00:00 to 8:00 in the morning and from 16:00 to 17:00 in the afternoon; In winter, it should be done after 10:00 am or before 4:00 pm when the temperature is higher. When mating in a closed pigsty on a modern pig farm, although it is less affected by temperature, the daily mating or sperm collection time of male pigs should be fixed to utilize their post effect behavioral characteristics, establish sexual reflexes early, and successfully complete the mating task.

2. Observation of artificial insemination using animal B-ultrasound machine

Artificial insemination refers to a breeding method in which the semen of a male pig is first collected using certain instruments, and then the semen is examined, diluted, and processed before being input into the reproductive tract of a female pig.
