Ultrasound examination of diseases affecting the conception rate of ewes using imported sheep
Female sheep suffering from infertility require timely treatment measures. Imported sheep should be diagnosed with the location of the problem through B-ultrasound examination. In order to breed ewes at an inappropriate time, prevent empty pregnancy, and promote the normal estrus and ovulation of non estrus ewes and mismatched ewes after estrus, B-ultrasound examination should be performed on diseased ewes and imported ewes, and timely treatment measures should be taken.
1. The ewe suffers from follicular cysts, which are characterized by frequent and obvious estrus. After being diagnosed by B-ultrasound in imported sheep, progesterone and other drugs can be tried. Sheep can be injected with 15-25 milligrams of progesterone intramuscularly every other day for 5-7 days, or 10-50 units of animal grade chorionic gonadotropin can be injected intramuscularly. After injection treatment, imported sheep can undergo B-ultrasound examination.
2. If ewes suffer from chronic salpingitis, antibiotics can be used to treat and promote the elimination of chronic inflammation. Imported sheep can undergo persistent treatment after effective B-ultrasound examination.
3. If the ovarian function of the ewe is weakened and the ewe is not in heat or the symptoms of heat are not obvious during the mating season, imported ewes need to be injected with 100-500 units of chorionic gonadotropin under the premise of improving the feeding and management conditions of the ewe through B-ultrasound examination.
When ewes suffer from endometritis or chronic vaginitis, they can first rinse the uterus with 0.1% potassium permanganate solution. Wash the uterus and vagina of the affected sheep once a day or every other day. After the washing solution is completely discharged, perform B-ultrasound examination on the imported sheep, and then inject antibiotic solution into the uterus and vagina to promote the elimination of inflammation. Beneficial for mating during estrus.
