Two methods of B-ultrasound examination of cattle ovaries
Ovarian disease is a common and frequently occurring disease in the process of cow breeding, and is also an important cause of cow infertility. The main ovarian diseases include: ovarian quiescence, latent estrus, delayed ovulation, persistent corpus luteum, ovarian cysts, etc. Two methods of using cattle B-ultrasound to examine the ovaries
Two methods of using cattle B-ultrasound to examine the ovaries
1. Rectal exploration method: It is mainly suitable for various large animals, such as horses, cattle, pigs, etc. During the exploration, the short cattle B-ultrasound rectal probe can be brought into the rectum by hand, and the cattle B-ultrasound probe can be placed close to the uterus or ovary through the rectal wall for exploration, and fine scanning images of ovaries, corpora lutea, follicles and fetal bodies in the pregnant uterus can be obtained.
2. Vaginal exploration method: It is mainly used for the examination of the uterus and ovaries of cattle. During the exploration, slowly insert the cattle B-ultrasound probe into the vagina so that the cattle B-ultrasound probe reaches the lower part of the vault, and then adjust the angle of the cattle B-ultrasound probe up and down and left and right appropriately to clearly observe the ovaries and uterus.
B-Ultrasound imaging diagnostic technology for cattle not only improves the reliability of diagnostic methods, but also accelerates the progress of breeding and reproduction of cows, which is beneficial to shorten the calving interval of cows and increase the reproduction rate of cows. Through the diagnosis of infertility and difficult pregnancy, the treatment of reproductive diseases, and the promotion of the industrialization and scale operation of dairy cow reproduction and embryo transplantation, good economic benefits can be obtained, with a broad scope of application and development prospects. At the same time, it improves the technical content, builds a technical platform for research in a broader scientific research field, and accelerates the pace of development towards the modernization of animal husbandry economy.
