Veterinary B-mode ultrasound imaging technology is a clinical diagnostic method without tissue damage and radiation hazards, and is one of the main contents of veterinary imaging technology.


Veterinary B-mode ultrasound diagnosis


Veterinary Ultrasound diagnosis in my country began in the late 1970s, and mainly draws on the experience of human medicine. Veterinary A-type and veterinary D-type ultrasound were the main types used at the time, mainly used for pregnancy examination, pig back fat measurement and sheep brain hydatid diagnosis.


In the early 1980s, veterinary B-type and veterinary M-type ultrasound began to be used in veterinary clinics. Veterinary B-type ultrasound is widely used in the diagnosis of diseases of various tissues and organs of animals, such as cardiovascular system diseases, liver and gallbladder diseases, kidney and bladder diseases, reproductive system diseases, spleen lesions, ophthalmic diseases, endocrine gland lesions and other soft tissue lesions. It is also widely used in animal pregnancy examinations, back fat and Eye muscle area measurement.


Veterinary ultrasound diagnosis is a discipline that uses ultrasound principles to study the theories and methods of diagnosing animal diseases and their application in animal husbandry production. Its main contents include the physical properties of ultrasound, application principles, instrument structure, detection technology and its application in veterinary clinics and animal husbandry production practices. Veterinary ultrasound diagnosis is mainly used in animal disease diagnosis, ultrasound-mediated diagnosis and treatment.
