Application of veterinary B-ultrasound diagnostic instrument in dairy cows
The functions of veterinary B-ultrasound diagnostic instruments are becoming increasingly powerful. Veterinary B-ultrasound is being used more and more widely in dairy cow reproduction. Veterinary B-ultrasound has also made great progress in the examination of dairy cow reproductive organs. Veterinary B-ultrasound is mainly used for the examination of dairy cow reproductive organs by veterinary B-ultrasound rectal exploration. Compared with the traditional rectal examination method, the veterinary B-ultrasound rectal exploration method has the characteristics of simple operation and easy mastery, no damage to the body, high accuracy, etc., and has great advantages.
Uterine abnormalities that can be diagnosed by veterinary B-ultrasound include endometritis, uterine suppuration, embryo loss and fetal mummification. When a dairy cow suffers from endometritis, the uterus contains inflammatory exudates, which are generally in a free motion state. The area where it is located does not produce echoes or echo attenuation, and the outline of the uterine cavity is unclear.
The uterine cavity is expanded, and the cavity contains fractions of small fragmented semi-reflective structures to varying degrees. The degree of reflection depends on the composition of the fluid in the uterus. When the uterine contents are very thick and filled with white blood cells and fiber fragments, its reflection characteristics are similar to those of the uterine wall. For embryo loss, the uterine wall thickens, and the fetal bones are stretched in the non-reflective fetal fluid, which can produce reflections. During fetal necrosis, the fetus is in a mass and completely lacks fetal fluid.
When using veterinary B-ultrasound to examine infertile dairy cows, it was found that the uterine wall of dairy cows with endometritis had clear contours, irregular inner edges, and thickened uterine walls. Ultrasound detection of fetal heartbeat can predict the life or death of the fetus in the cow's uterus. The heart rate 2d and 1d before the death of the embryo was 150 7 times/min and 108 times/min respectively, and the fetal movement disappeared, the fetal sac was filled with liquid dark areas, the embryo could not be seen, the echo in the uterus was disordered, and the fetal sac, placenta and fetal structure could not be distinguished, all of which indicated the death of the embryo.
