veterinary B-ultrasound diagnostic technology is a new technique that emerged in the 1970s. It provides a convenient window for us to study the reproductive and physiological functions of animals in vivo, allowing us to observe the dynamic changes of follicles and corpus luteum on the ovary. Systematically studying the morphological structure and growth and development changes of ovarian follicles and corpus luteum in young female animals during the estrus cycle is of great practical significance for a comprehensive understanding of the structure and function of ovarian follicles and corpus luteum.

The frequency of the probe can be divided into 3.5MHz, 5.0 MHz, 7.5 MHz, and 10 0 MHz, commonly used ultrasound frequencies are 5.0 MHz and 7.5 MHz probes. The ultrasound frequency of the probe is closely related to the depth of exploration and resolution. The frequency of the probe is inversely proportional to the depth and range of exploration, and directly proportional to the resolution. The probe has high frequency and good resolution, but the exploration range is narrow and the exploration depth is shallow. When using Animal ultrasound for body wall exploration, probes with frequencies of 3.5MHz and 5.0MHz are often used. When conducting intracavitary exploration, probes with frequencies of 5.0MHz, 7.5MHz, and 10.0MHz are generally used close to the area being explored 0MHz probe.

By using a probe with a frequency of 7.5 MHz or higher, changes in the early stage of the ovary, embryo, and uterine wall can be observed more precisely. The use of Veterinary Ultrasound diagnostic technology can observe 2mm follicles on cow ovaries, and accurately count, classify, and locate various types of follicles on the screen of the veterinary ultrasound diagnostic device.

The use of animal ultrasound to study the changes in follicles and corpus luteum on cows' ovaries and monitor their estrus status in a timely manner for timely mating, artificial insemination, superovulation injection, estrus synchronization, and improving pregnancy rates have significant practical significance. The application and promotion of new technologies can better serve the people in animal husbandry, improve their living standards, and promote the stable, healthy, rapid, and sustainable development of the national economy
