ultrasound for cattle uses pulsed current to induce the vibration of piezoelectric crystals in the ultrasound probe, while simultaneously emitting multiple beams of ultrasound waves to detect on a single section. By utilizing the different reflection intensities caused by ultrasound propagation in various tissues, the probe converts the signals into pulsed current signals, which are displayed on a display screen as bright and dark light spots to show a cross-sectional image of the explored area. The use of B-ultrasound imaging technology in cattle mainly solves two problems in diagnosis. It can display the outline, size, shape, and location of organs, as well as the internal structure of organs. The application of this technology is a rEVOlution in animal husbandry production, and the main application of B-ultrasound diagnostic technology in cattle breeding.

The main application of B-ultrasound diagnostic technology in cattle breeding

1. It can provide information on the development status of the ovaries, study the dynamic changes of follicles and corpus luteum, monitor estrus, and carry out breeding in a timely manner.

2. It can be used for early pregnancy diagnosis, gender identification, selective elimination, and increasing maternal calf rate.

3. Diagnose and monitor changes in the uterus at different stages of pregnancy, detect changes in embryo or fetal activity, and accurately estimate fetal age.

4. Used for live egg collection and in vitro embryo production.

5. Used to monitor the condition of postpartum uterine involution, as well as various uterine diseases such as endometritis, pyometra, embryo loss, and fetal mummification. It can also monitor ovarian cysts and perform amniocentesis and urethritis through ultrasound guidance.

6. Used for monitoring the reproductive organs of bulls, mainly to observe the presence of fluid accumulation and calcification in tissues, and to explore urethral stones, accessory gland cysts, fluid accumulation, hypertrophy, atrophy, etc.
