This ultrasound backfat thickness gauge uses sound waves to measure the depth of pig backfat. It is designed to measure the total depth of backfat, easy to carry, a handheld metal working instrument, powered by rechargeable batteries, and does not require any professional training before use.

Imported backfat analyzer

After the probe connected to the imported backfat analyzer comes into contact with the skin of pigs, it emits high-frequency sound wave pulses, which are called ultrasound waves. This ultrasound radiation effect comes from the subcutaneous fat or tissue beneath the pigskin layer. The measuring device will listen to the radiation sound from beneath the skin layer and accurately record the fat layer and other subcutaneous tissues. The reading displayed on the instrument screen is the thickness of the skin surface plus the fat layer, accompanied by a small light (called the readable value display light) indicating the completion of the measurement.
