Although the fetus develops at different rates, there are some basic milestones in the development of the dwarf goat fetus. Below are the different changes observed by the sheep ultrasound at 30 days, 45 days, 75 days, 105 days, 120 days and 147 days of pregnancy in dwarf goats

30 days of pregnancy in dwarf goats: At four weeks of pregnancy, the fetus is less than 1/2 inch in size. On the sonogram of the sheep ultrasound, the facial features of the child and the small stumps formed by the legs can be seen.

45 days of pregnancy in dwarf goats: After just fifteen days, this fetus is about 1 inch long and weighs about 1/4 ounce. By now, the goat has eyelids. Its legs and developing neck have grown longer.

75 days of pregnancy in dwarf goats: A lot of growth will occur in the next stage, and by this time it weighs 4 ounces and is 2 1/2 inches long. The child's first hair sprouts around the eyes and mouth.

Pygmy goat pregnancy 105 days: After one month, the fetus is 18 cm long and more than 3 inches long. Growing hair now covers the entire body.

Pygmy goat pregnancy 120 days: At four months, the kid weighs 2 pounds. and is 6 inches long. Its fur has finished growing and its legs are fully developed.

Pygmy goat pregnancy 147 days: Before birth, the kid weighs 4 pounds. Its organ systems are mature and teeth are erupting from the gums.
