There are many factors that affect the reproductive rate of ewes through veterinary B-ultrasound analysis. Usually, it is not a single factor that affects the reproductive rate of ewes. It is the result of the combined action of different factors. To improve the reproductive rate of ewes, it is necessary to maintain an appropriate nutritional level, have an appropriate breeding ewe ratio and excellent male and female multi-birth pedigree, and cooperate with appropriate breeding techniques, such as drug aphrodisiac, drug-induced superovulation, shortened lambing time and timely mating technology, etc. In these processes, veterinary B-ultrasound can play a very important role. Only in this way can the reproductive performance of ewes be effectively improved and the reproductive potential of ewes be fully utilized, thereby effectively improving the production capacity of the flock.

First, the duration of estrus in ewes is short. Therefore, it is necessary to breed in time to prevent missing the estrus period and improve the breeding conception rate and lambing rate of 1-2 estrus periods. Do a good job in early veterinary B-ultrasound pregnancy diagnosis to prevent missed mating and mismatching. Do a good job in ewes' fetal preservation and abortion prevention. Second, some high-yielding ewes ovulate a large number of eggs, but they are not matured and discharged at the same time but discharged one after another. Therefore, repeated mating, double mating and mixed insemination breeding mode should be adopted to make the eggs ovulated have the opportunity to be fertilized to improve the conception rate and lambing rate. Insemination can also be performed under the observation of veterinary B-ultrasound.

Use reproductive hormones (such as pregnant mare serum gonadotropin, pituitary cytokines and ovulation-stimulating hormones, etc.) to treat ewes for superovulation, and monitor follicles with veterinary B-ultrasound. Allow the ovaries to discharge more mature eggs in a natural state in one estrus cycle, and then use good-quality rams or frozen sperm to breed the estrus ewes in time to improve the conception rate and lambing rate.
