Timely and accurate estrus identification uses external observation, rectal examination, and vaginal examination to determine whether the cow is in estrus. Of course, the best method is to use a veterinary B-ultrasound machine for B-ultrasound examination.

Correct insemination time. The conception rate of dairy cows is closely related to the timing of insemination. During artificial insemination, the cow can only become pregnant when the egg and sperm meet at the right time (ovarian ovulation 24-32 hours after the start of estrus), so it is necessary to perform a Cow B-ultrasound examination. The ovaries begin to ovulate 10-14 hours after the end of the estrus period. Unfertilized eggs can only survive in the cow's reproductive tract for 6-12 hours. Sperm placed in the female animal's reproductive tract using artificial insemination technology can only survive for 30 hours. Using a veterinary B-ultrasound machine for timely inspection and breeding is the key.

Correct method of using semen: Semen is stored in a liquid nitrogen tank. When using it, the semen in the tube should be quickly taken out of the liquid nitrogen tank and immersed in warm water at about 40℃ for about 30S. It can be taken out after the color of the semen in the tube changes. Avoid the semen from heating up too quickly when thawing.

The correct insemination process uses the rectal grasping insemination method. The breeder should trim and polish his nails in advance. Wear plastic long-arm gloves, apply water or lubricant to the arm, put the five fingers of the left hand together or in a cone shape, gently touch the anus to relax the anal muscles, rotate deeply into the anus with slow movements, and take out the feces. The left hand reenters the rectum and fixes it at the base of the cervix with the index finger, ring finger and little finger. Send the insemination gun to about 2/3-3/4 deep in the cervix, and then inject semen. After the insemination is completed, slowly withdraw the insemination gun. The whole process should be focused, cautious, slow insertion, appropriate depth, light injection, and slow withdrawal. It is best to do this work under the monitoring of cattle B-ultrasound.

Timely pregnancy checks should be conducted, including early pregnancy diagnosis, pregnancy checks during pregnancy, and pregnancy checks during the dry period. Currently, the best method for diagnosing pregnancy is to use a Veterinary B-ultrasound machine for examination.
